Our beloved mom, daughter, sister, and friend was an amazing woman. Amy had so much energy as a little girl, that her grandpa always thought she should have been twins. She was very verbal and very brave. She once stood in front of the entire church and clearly stated; "As you can see, I am only 3, I love Jesus and Jesus loves me." As the oldest child, she was a natural caretaker to her three siblings. Through the years, she was the first to call when we wanted to celebrate an event or needed help in a crisis. Amy was classy, unconditional, and a natural leader. In high school, she was an active member of 4-H and FHA. She was crowned the queen of the Murray County Pork Association and rode through many parades in southern Minnesota wearing her sparkly crown. Amy graduated from Mankato State and became a successful business woman in Mankato. She had an admirable work ethic and was often recognized for her achievements in the insurance and investment profession and was selected as Professional Business Women of the Year. She inherited her witty business sense from her Dad and her signature laugh from her Mom. She had a special talent for growing beautiful flower gardens. She also loved camping, boating, hot summer days, the MN Wild, and lounging in her pajamas. Amy was united in marriage to Randy Olson on August, 24 1991. The most cherished event in Amy's life was when their daughter, Morgan, was born. Amy was so proud to be her mother and Morgan will always be her greatest love, treasure, and joy. Amy is survived by her daughter, Morgan Olson of North Mankato; parents, Jim and Joan Kluis of Slayton; two brothers, Mike (Jan) Kluis of Chandler and Aaron (Bridget) Kluis of Chandler; one sister, Lora (Matt) Magers of Mankato; one niece and seven nephews, Austin and Logan Kluis, Camdyn, Derek, Dylan, and Dugan Kluis, and Louis and Wilson Magers; former husband and forever friend, Randy Olson of North Mankato; also many aunts, uncles, and cousins. We will all miss our beloved's striking blue eyes, beautiful smile, hearty laugh and her big heart. Our family would like to thank the Mankato Hospital providers and staff, the Palliative Care team, and Mayo Hospice team for providing excellent care and support for us all.
