Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home 307 Main St. E. Mapleton, MN 56065 (507) 524-3616 Wade L. Maine, age 57, of Mapleton, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home in Mapleton with Rev. Betty Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sterling Cemetery. Wade was born to Walter and Alvina (Goraczkowski) Maine in Fairmont on February 20, 1958. He graduated in 1976 from Mapleton Public School. Wade married Cherie Morgan on December 17, 1977. He worked for Crysteel for 37 years. One of Wade's greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. He liked the outdoors, especially fishing, flower gardening, and disc golfing. He also enjoyed music, trains, computers, and traveling in his Jeep. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Wade is survived by his mother, Alvina Maine; children, Melissa Cannon, Mitchell Maine (Amy), and Michelle Maine (Mickey); seven grandchildren with another on the way; sister, Rosemary Vogel (Greg); nephew, Kevin Vogel; ex-wife, Cherie Kline (Steve); and step-son, Morgan Thomas. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Maine; grandparents, Larry and Esther Maine and John and Frances Goraczkowski.
