Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Drive Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Mildred Betty Kvam, age 86, of Mankato, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Rev. Keith Siverly officiating. Interment will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements. Mildred was born November 5, 1928, in South Bend Township. She was the daughter of Ole and Carolina (Herbst) Kvam. Mildred attended school in Lake Crystal. She was employed with Johnson Fishing in Mankato for 32 years. Mildred was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, playing piano, and participating in church activities. Mildred is survived by her nieces and nephews, Karen Ballman of Mankato, Timothy (Kathy) Kvam of Lake Crystal, Kerry (Sharon) Kvam of Arizona, and Keith Kvam of Rapidan; sister-in-law, Marion Kvam of Mankato; also cousins, other family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hayden and Lyle.
