Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Beulah W. McComb, age 97, of Mankato, died on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Keystone Senior Living. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Medo McPherson Cemetery. Beulah was born the 7th of 16 children to William and Minnie (Ward) Oachs on September 7, 1918 in Mankato. On June 23, 1936 Beulah was united in marriage to Walter McComb. After marriage they moved to a farm near Mapleton and were blessed with two daughters. Beulah played the banjo in the Kato Kids Band. Band members helped bring the large family through the depression by performing. Beulah is survived by two daughters and their families, Darlene Willard ( David Oswald) and her children: Christopher (Jackie) Willard and Noah and Jacob, Corey (Gina) Willard, and Kelsey (Matt) Warmka and Eric, Carrie, and Erin, and Karlene McComb (Dennis) and their daughter, Kari. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1989; and brothers and sisters.
