Emmanuel "Manny" Costumbrado

Lake Crystal Mortuary 648 S. Main Street Lake Crystal, MN 56055 (507) 726-6161 Emmanuel Nicasio "Manny" Costumbrado, age 64, of Lake Crystal, died Sunday, September 6, 2015, at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lake Crystal. Visitation will be held 4 - 6 p.m. on Thursday at the church and continues one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery. Lake Crystal Mortuary handled the arrangements. Manny was born September 3, 1951, to Epimaco and Nieva (Nicasio) Costumbrado in Pasig, Philippines. He was the oldest of nine children. He graduated from the Lyceum of Manila in 1969. Manny served in the U.S. Navy from 1973-1979. He was united in marriage to Linda Bartsch on January 14, 1976, in Las Vegas, NV. Manny worked as a machinist for MICO for seven years before retiring due to disability. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #294 in Lake Crystal. Manny enjoyed keeping up with current events, listening to music, attending church, thrift store shopping, and especially spending time with his family. Manny is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda of Lake Crystal; one son, Alex (Anne) of Seattle, WA; two daughters, Noel (Jacob) of Lakeville and Samantha (Daniel) of Brooklyn Park; two grandchildren, Camille and Westley; and six siblings living in the Philippines and California. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
