Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Milo "Mike" Sindelir, age 90, of Mankato, died on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at 10:00 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in St. Clair. Mike was born on November 7, 1924 in Olivia, MN to Joseph and Marie (Leopold) Sindelir. Mike served in the United States Marine Corps from 1943-1946. On July 17, 1948 he was united in marriage to Betty Stout in Lake City, IA. Mike worked for Central Bi-Products for 45 years. Mike was a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge and achieved the Pilgrim degree of merit. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cards along with collecting National Geographic magazines. Mike also enjoyed vegetable gardening, canning, and cooking. Mike is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann (Dale) Stolt, Patricia (David) Shirley, and Barbara (Keith) Knutson; grandchildren, Amy (Seth) Becker and children, Cadence, Kennedy, and Aaron, grand son-in-law, Todd (Lisa) Miller and children, Jaden and Thayne, Mike (Jan) Wellik and son, Trey, Megan (Aaron) Andreen and daughter, Olivia, and Amy (Dan) Nelson; many nieces and nephews and special niece, Connie Lappe; and special friend, Hazel Neubert. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; granddaughter, Kelly Miller; grandson, Scott Stolt; two sisters; and three brothers.
