Dorothy Ella Otteman

She married Harold Otteman on June 29, 1941 in Pender, Nebraska. Dorothy lived in Pender, Nebraska, Truman Minnesota, New Jersey, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and most recently in North Mankato, Minnesota. She worked several years for the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed cooking, being with family, baking bread, and embroidery as well as many other arts and crafts. She is survived by three children - Harold Dean Otteman (Diane)of Dundee, Illinois; Diane Otteman of Chicago, Illinois; and Norma Pulis (Mike) of North Mankato, Minnesota; four grand children - Sharon Otteman of Mount Propsect, Illinois; Susan Otteman of Chicago, Illinois; James Pulis (Victoria) - currently stationed at Stutgart Germany; Abby Valente (Peter) of Frankfort, Illinois and six great grand children; three sisters Herminia Leimer of Truman, Minnesota; Adell Leuders of Emerson, Nebraska; Mae Kidwell of Bancroft, Nebraska and one brother, Herman Essmann Jr. of Pender, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Otteman; sister, Pauline Benson; and two brothers-in-law, Albert Benson and Harold Leuders. Dorothy requested that a memorial service be held in Pender Nebraska which is being planned at the current time.
