Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Drive Mankato, MN 56001 Mildred Lucy "Millie" Anderson, age 88, of rural Mankato, died Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Pathstone Living in Mankato. Memorial Service will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Millie was born April 18, 1927, in Jamestown Township to Leo and Louise (Galler) Weber. She was a 1945 graduate of Mankato High School. Millie was united in marriage to Donald Anderson on September 16, 1947, in Madison Lake. She was employed with Mankato Golf Club and Mankato State University. Millie was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. In their retirement, Millie and Donald worked at Cottonwood Campground in Ankeny, IA. Millie is survived by her six daughters, Vicki (Rick) Hackbarth of Nicollet, Faye (John) Geurs of Mankato, Judy (Jeff) Klingel and Jan (Denny) Burtzel all of North Mankato, Karen (Joe) Brooks and Kathy (Chris) Sieberg all of Mankato; five sons, Gary Anderson of Lake Mills, IA, Rick (Peggy) Anderson of Mankato, Bill Anderson and Bruce (special friend, Laurie Osterman) Anderson of North Mankato, Randy (Nancy) Anderson of Mankato; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Ev Anderson of North Mankato; and her loving feline companion, Lilly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald in 2009; two sons, Greg and Ron; two brothers and one sister.
