Lake Crystal Mortuary 648 S. Main St. Lake Crystal, MN 56055 (507) 388-2202 Ruth A. Kendall, age 89, of Lake Crystal, died on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Luther Memorial Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lake Crystal with Rev. Jerry David officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Lake Crystal Mortuary. Burial will be at the Garden City Cemetery. Ruth was born on December 17, 1925 to William Henry and Mary Adeleine (Brown) Davidson in Woodward, IA. She attended school in Good Thunder. Ruth was united in marriage to Archie Lee Kendall on August 28, 1943 in Texas where Archie was serving in the Army Air Corp. Ruth and Archie farmed in rural Garden City. Ruth loved to crochet and make gifts for her family. Many years were spent traveling the USA in their motor home. Ruth is survived by two daughters, Sharon Renner of New Ulm and Sandra (Clarence) Hall of rural Garden City; son, Archie Edwin (Kay) Kendall of North Mankato; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie; son, Larry Kendall; great-grandson, Dustin Hall; son-in-law, Tom Renner; six sisters; one brother; and twin brothers in infancy.
