Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato with Rev. Mike Omtvedt officiating. Burial in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Neil was born February 26, 1953 to Maurice and Ruth (Coult) Kiewatt in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School. He was married to Brenda Davidson at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato in 1975. They later divorced. Neil was self-employed by the Mankato Free Press and Star Tribune. He was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church. Neil enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Angelia (Roy) Lowe; son, Heath (Becky) Kiewatt; mother, Ruth all of Mankato; eight grandchildren, Tristan, Tyler, Cole, Emilee, Brodie, Taylor, Kaylee, and Hunter; brother, Dennis (Karen) Kiewatt of Rochester. Preceded in death by his father; son, Jason; grandparents.
