Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Kasota Hills Cemetery. Visitation one hour before the service on Friday. Orange Pettis Flowers was born December 24, 1945 to Bayard and Ida (Birr) Flowers in Cleveland, Minnesota. He served his country in the US Army from 1967 - 1973 with a tour in Vietnam. Orange was married to Barbara Attenberger on July 5, 1969 in Cleveland. Orange worked at Dotson Co. for 38 years before retiring. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Club, and the Morson - Ario VFW. Orange enjoyed fishing, hunting, wrestling on TV and family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Mankato; five children, Gail (Larry) Weihe of Mankato, Sgt. Ray (Kristen) Flowers, Dale (Kelly) Flowers all of Mankato, Jason (Melissa) Flowers of Garden City, Nicole (Dustin Nelson) Flowers of Mankato; nine grandchildren, Shelby, Christopher, Cassandra, Austin, Trenton, Brooke, Hanna, Hayden, and Colton; siblings, Arnie Flowers of New Ulm, Annie (Greg) Meier of St. Peter, MN, Carl (Rosie) Oehler of Cleveland.
