Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Drive Mankato, Minnesota 56001 507-388-2202 Harvey E. Rosenfeld, age 68, of Mankato, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 15, 2015. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2015 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Wong, officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before the service at church. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church. Harvey Erwin Rosenfeld was born on November 10, 1946 to Erwin and Velma (Thies) Rosenfeld in Glencoe. He graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1964. He continued his education at Mankato Commercial College, graduating in 1967 with a degree in Senior Accounting. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1972. Harvey married Catherine J. Gardner on July 26, 1969. After the Air Force, Harvey was employed by the Internal Revenue Service until his retirement in 1997. Harvey enjoyed fishing, farming, tractor shows and spending time with family. He was an active member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, North Mankato. Harvey is survived by his two sons, John and his wife, Billie and dog Monte of Wausau, WI; Michael and his wife, Jill and their daughter, (his granddaughter) Brianna of Harrisburg, SD; niece, Tiffany Rosenfeld; nephews, Matt Rosenfeld, Mitchell Rosenfeld, and David Cox; sister in law, Joann Rosenfeld; and cousins. Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine; brother, Larry; parents; grandparents; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
