Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato, Minnesota 56003 507-388-2288 Timothy Daniel Steffl, age 32 of Mankato, died Sunday as the result of an automobile accident. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Holberg Cemetery rural Rapidan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Minnesota Pheasants Forever. Timothy Daniel was born May 5, 1983 to Joseph and Christine (Thomsen) Steffl in Mankato, Minnesota. He graduated from St. Clair High School in 2001 and attended South Central College in North Mankato. Tim worked for the City of Mankato Parks Department and was currently working at Alpha Wireless. Tim had a passion for the outdoors from a very young age. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family. Tim is survived by his parents, Joseph and Christine of rural Mankato; sister, Naomi Steffl of Chicago, IL; maternal grandmother, J. Shirley Thomsen of Clear Lake, IA; paternal grandmother, Betty Steffl of Mankato; uncles and aunts, Clark Thomsen, Curtis Thomsen, Gary Thomsen, John (Tiss Underdahl) Steffl, James (Margo) Steffl, Virginia Steffl; cousins, Nicole (Mike) Hodge, Jay (Katie) Steffl, Jack (Kendra Huettl) Steffl; second cousins, Quinn and Truman Hodge, Emerie Steffl; nearly family Brian and Becky Curtis, Doug (Lindsey) Curtis, Dan Curtis, Amy Curtis. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Steffl and Eugene Thomsen; Aunt Cindy (Kruse) Steffl.
