Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Dr. Mankato, MN 56001 (507) 388-2202 Aline A. Eichten, age 94, of North Mankato, died on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Pathstone Living. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Lauer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Our mom, Aline Anderson Eichten, was born December 8, 1920, on a farm in Blue Earth County to Henry and Alma (Tietz) Ruege. She attended country school, Mapleton High School, and then Mankato Commercial College. Aline lived in St. Clair for a short time and then moved to Mankato and North Mankato, where she spent the rest of her life. Aline married L. Harland Anderson and raised five children. They later divorced and she married Victor Eichten. He was a letter carrier and she worked for the Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic until retirement. Aline is survived by three sons, Robert Anderson of Bloomington, Ronald Anderson (Ji Yung) of Dallas, TX, James Anderson (Ann) of Madison Lake; one daughter, Joyce Pedersen (Thomas) of North Mankato; two step-children, Gary Eichten (Joann) of St. Paul and Karen Timm of Bloomington; former daughter-in-law, Kathie Putrah of Faribault; brother, Arnold Ruege of Janesville; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; step-great grandchildren; two nieces. She was preceded in death by parents; husband; son, Richard (Dick) Anderson; and an infant brother. The family would like to thank the staff at Pathstone Living for their compassionate care in her final days. The family also extends a special thank you to her friends and neighbors at her apartment for their love and care, especially Sandy, Peggy, and Roger.
