Jerome "Jerry" V. Gagnier

"Jerry" Gagnier, age 70, of Lake Mills, Iowa and formerly of North Mankato, passed away, Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2015, at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with Fr. Paul van de Crommert, officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, May 10 at Northview and will continue one hour before service on Monday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Jerry was born, July 28, 1944, in Mankato to Vernon "Red" and Catherine "Kate" (Sullivan) Gagnier. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1962. He attended Mankato Vocational School and received certification in Tool and Die. He worked for 3M in New Ulm, Midway Tooling and Manufacturing in Lake Mills, IA and retired from 3M in Wahpeton, ND. He enjoyed archery, fishing, hunting, golfing, and family gatherings. Jerry is survived by his sisters, Karen Randall of Apple Valley, MN and Mary K. (Vic) Johnson of Blaine; nieces and nephews, Aimee (Tom) Mediger and their children, Ethan and Emily, Kelly (Scott) Speldrick, Heather (Rob) Milton and their children, Luke, Leia, and Faith, Terri (Chad) Thoe and their children, Chris, Alex, and Cole. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William "Bill" on September 11, 1968 in Vietnam; brother-in-law, Chuck Randall.
