Riverfront Drive Mankato, Minnesota 56001 507-388-2202 Rowan Beverly Rose Ndjarakana, age 3 months, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. A time of gathering will be 2 - 5 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Mankato Mortuary, with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Rowan was born January 29, 2015 in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota Hospital to Molly Ndjarakana. She was a sweet and sassy little girl who had a larger than life personality. Rowie loved the sound of her mother's voice, Molly sang and read to her every day. She would squeeze her mommy's finger when she heard her voice. Rowie loved when her big sister, Maya would read her stories and talk to her. Her middle names are in honor of her great-grandmothers, from whom she got her fighting spirit. Rowie fought hard through her medical challenges, but her little body was tired. Although her time with us was short, she will forever hold a spot in our hearts. Mommy loves you, Nugget! Rowan will be forever missed by her mommy, Molly Ndjarakana; big sister, Maya Ndjarakana; grandparents, Frank and Kathy Ferraro; aunties, Gina Ferraro and Olivia Ferraro; and many other relatives. Rowan was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers; great-grandfather; and great-uncle.
