Mankato Mortuary 1001 N. Riverfront Drive Mankato, Minnesota 56001 507-388-2202 Anthony "Tony" Garcia, age 56, of Mankato died unexpectedly, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at his home with his family. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Dean Wolf officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the Tony Garcia Memorial Fund at US Bank. Anthony was born February 14, 1959 to Anthony and Lucille (Arroyo) Garcia in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He met the love of his life, MaryAnn Nelson in August 2008. Most recently he worked for Enventis, Kato Cab, and Midwest Wireless. Tony loved all music, playing, listening, sharing, and composing. He enjoyed time with his family, working his VW Vanagan, watching the LA Dodgers, and everything Los Angeles. Tony survived by his love, MaryAnn Nelson; sons, Anthony Austin and Andrew Lucas Garcia; stepchildren, Jackie, Rachael, and Henry Nelson; father, Anthony Garcia; sisters, Claudia (Michael), Sylvia, Antonette, Christine, Geralyn (George), Luanne (Eric), and Adrienne; and many nieces and nephews. Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille.
