Ron was born on October 3, 1962 in Mankato, MN to Laurell and Addie Boyum. Ron graduated from Mankato West High School in 1981. Ron was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family. Ron had a deep passion for the outdoors of which bass fishing and bow hunting holding a special place in his heart. He dedicated many hours of his life with his family and friends enjoying his passion and passing his love and his legacy of the outdoors on to them. Ron touched the lives of those who came in contact with him and will always be remembered as a very giving and caring person. Ron very much loved his family and each of them held a special place in his heart. Ron is survived by a sister (Cheryl & Denny Price), brother (Larry & Carol Boyum), daughter (Ashley Boyum), 3 nephews (Tim & Terri Price, Jason & Renae Price, Andy & Julie Boyum) and 1 niece (Jennie & Joe Howard) 2 grandnieces (Sophie & Jaelynn Price) & 2 grandnephews (Charlie & Mason Boyum) Ron is preceded in death by his father (Laurell Boyum) mother (Addie Boyum) and nephew (Jamey Price). A private family service is planned to honor Ron's life. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting to give a memorial to the donor's choice.
