Lake Crystal Mortuary 648 S. Main Street Lake Crystal, MN 56055 (507) 726-6161 Philip P. Malvin, age 77, of Lake Crystal, died on Friday, December 26, 2014 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lake Crystal Mortuary with Rev. Vance Becker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Philip was born on September 25, 1937 in Mankato to Robert and Pauline (Cutler) Malvin. He graduated from the Garden City High School. Philip farmed in the Lake Crystal area for many years. He graduated from vocational school in Mankato and became a chef at the Junction Inn. Philip enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors. Philip is survived by his children, Andrea Malvin, Stella Jo Parker, and Garret Malvin (Barb Cline); four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Eva (Paul) Kendall; brother, Dan Malvin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and M.C.; and sister, Roberta.
