Bob was born on July 9th, 1946 in Austin, MN to Maynard and Ruth (Sowden) White. He attended Austin Public Schools and enlisted in the Army in December of 1967. He later achieved his GED in 1985 and then attended Albert Lea Technical Institute for two years. He proudly graduated with a Mechanical Drafting Degree in 1987. Bob worked for many years as a machinist and drafter ending his working career with Ameristar Manufacturing in Mankato, MN. Bob married Jeanette Brunner on May 26, 1988. Together they remodeled and finished 5 homes in the Mankato area. Bob was a proud owner of a classic 1963 ½ Ford Falcon (no post) which he improved dramatically by repairing it himself. His "LIL BIRD" could be seen often at the weekly roll ins. He went fishing for walleye and northern pike as much as he could. It didn't matter if he caught anything, it just mattered that he was fishing. Bob was a talented woodworker and used his woodworking skills for many projects including development of cue holders and quarter holders for his hobby of pool shooting. He enjoyed playing 8-ball weekly with his crazy fun teammates in a Mankato pool league. He was known for his three rail shots which delighted his team and their opponents. Whenever Bob got some free time, he enjoyed playing cards with Jeanette and other relatives. Bob is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Eagle Lake; children, Tracy (Greg) Patterson of Faribault, Valerie (Don Lee) Lewis of New Richland, Alana (Jason) Stinehart of Lakeville and Laura (Travis) Lorenz of Winona, and TEN beautiful grandchildren: Evelyn, Faith, Wyatt, Joshua, Lydia, Noah, Abigail, Xander, Axel and Aiden.
