Memorial visitation will be held from 3 - 6 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Private family burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Brady John Schaffer was born November 23, 1979 to James and Kathleen (McCoy) Schaffer in Mankato. He attended Loyola and graduated from Mankato West in 1998. Brady attended Minnesota State University majoring in Art. He worked for Tire Associates in Mankato and also worked at the 169 Road House. In his earlier years he worked at various restaurants in the area. Brady took pride in going on mission and volunteer trips to San Lucas, Guatemala with his uncle, Father Greg Schaffer. Brady enjoyed skiing, cooking and was a sports enthusiast. Most of all Brady loved spending time with his daughters. He is survived by his two daughters, Charleigh and Ellie; mother Kathleen; brothers, Scott (Micki) Schaffer, Ryan (Jen) Schaffer all of Mankato; two nieces, Chelsea and Lindsey Schaffer; special friend, Deb; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, James.
