Georgia Rose Goettl, of Mankato, passed away March 27, 2012.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm Friday, March 30, 2012 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Georgia Goettl, beloved daughter, niece, and cousin, was born October 14, 1942. She worked by her parents' side running Goettl Hilltop Grocery for many years. After attending SS. Peter and Paul's Elementary School, Loyola High School, and Mankato Commercial College, she worked in the billing department at Southern Minnesota Supply Company. Georgia also served as an usher at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. She loved to play cards. Her laugh and smile will be remembered by many.

Georgia is survived by many cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and (Mary) Alyce Goettl.
