Dennis M. Kozitza, age 66, of North Mankato and formerly of Faribault, died at home on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2012 at NORTHVIEW " North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato, with a graveside service immediately following at St. Michaels Cemetery in rural North Mankato.

Dennis Mark Kozitza, son of Kenneth and Loretta (Laven) Kozitza, was born on July 24, 1945 in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School and Minnesota State University Mankato. On November 4, 1967, he was united in marriage to JoAnn Vargo in Kilkenny, MN. Dennis enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, and visiting with friends and neighbors.

Dennis is survived by his wife; two children, Martin (Kathleen) Kozitza of Portland, OR and Deanna (Jesus Cabedo Torres) Mason of Madrid, Spain; four grandchildren; 6 siblings, Joanne (Jim) Theissen of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Thomas (June) Kozitza of Anoka, James (Diane) Kozitza of Thompson, IA, Patrick (Susan) Kozitza of Des Moines, IA, Elizabeth Manderfeld of Mankato, and Greg Kozitza of Ashland WI; and extended family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one nephew.
