Connie R. (Nichols) Pearce, age 85, of Mankato, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church, North Mankato. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday at NORTHVIEW - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato and will continue one hour before service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Blue Earth Nicollet County Humane Society (BENCHS).

Connie was born September 27, 1926 to Arthur Edward and Blanche Olivia (Spencer) McCormick in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Willis Nichols on December 14, 1947 in Mankato. They were married for 45 years before he died in 1992. She married Richard Pearce on September 25, 1994 in Mankato. They were married for 16 years before he died in 2008. Connie was employed by the Wagon Wheel Caf", Kato Engineering, Madsen's, Like Nu Cleaners, and lastly Taylor Corporation for 14 years before retiring. She was a member of Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church. Connie enjoyed her cats, needle point, sewing, ceramics, reading, and puzzles.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Shari D. Possien of Washington, D.C.; son, Gary Nichols of Tampa, FL; two grandchildren, John and Jason Nichols; two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Dylan; brother, Sonny McCormick of Washington; sister, Gloria Brennan of Washington; and extended family.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Willis "Nick" Nichols in 1992 and Richard Pearce in 2008; daughter-in-law, Vicki in 2007; three brothers, Kenneth, Dennis, and Edward.
