Mark Edwin Braun, age 44, of North Mankato, MN, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System " Mankato following a short illness.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012 at NORTHVIEW " North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato, MN. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until the service time on Thursday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Mark was born on September 19, 1967 to Lynn and Beverly (Streich) Braun in St. Peter, MN. He was a 1986 graduate of Alliance High School and received his Automotive Technology Degree from the Phoenix Institute of Technology. Mark married Monica Lamoureaux on August 31, 1991 in Denver, CO. They later divorced. Mark was employed with Chrysler/Jeep from 1987 to 2008 in Denver. He also worked for Jimmy Vickers Jeep in Merritt Island, FL and Firestone in Titusville, FL. Mark had currently been with Lager's in Mankato, MN since August of 2011. He enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, camping, time in the mountains, football, Nascar, making beef jerky, grilling, and especially time spent with his sons and grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his two sons, Joshua (Delayna) Lamoureaux of Merriam Woods Village, MO and Christopher (fiancee, Elisa Richardson) Braun of Titusville, FL; three grandchildren, Bryton and Dylan Lamoureaux, and Ayden Braun; father, Lynn (Myrna) Braun of North Mankato, MN; mother, Beverly (Dr. Frank) Colombo of Titusville, FL; three sisters, Candi (Mike) Scott of Elysian, MN, Cari (Vic) Prado of Englewood, CO, and Roberta (fiancee, Tom Carmody) Braun of North Glenn, CO; two nieces, Courtney (fiancee, Matt Conroy) Scott and Chelsea Scott; one nephew, Benjamin Prado; two grandmothers, Deloris Streich of Le Center, MN and Marian Schubbe of Mapleton, MN; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Marjorie Braun, Edwin Streich, and Leonard Schubbe; and a step-mother, Marilyn Braun.
