Charlotte Louise Kaiser, age 86, of North Mankato, died peacefully after a battle with Alzheimer's, Friday, March 2, 2012 at Clare Bridge of Eagan.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at NORTHVIEW - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with Rev. Jay Dahlvang, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at NORTHVIEW on Friday. Burial will be in Kern's Oak Grove Cemetery, Belgrade Township, Nicollet County, MN.
Charlotte was born May 23, 1925 to Floyd B. and Susan J. (Enz) Cole in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School. She was united in marriage to Delbert Eugene Kaiser on December 18, 1946 in Mankato, they had one son, Samuel Kaiser. Charlotte and Delbert farmed in partnership with Charlotte's parents until moving to California in 1955. Charlotte worked in the Lakewood California School for several years before becoming the bookkeeper for Delbert's construction company. After retiring they made their home in Big River, California until 2003 when they moved back to North Mankato. They settled back on the original Cole farmstead in Belgrade Township to a retirement home that Delbert had built as their summer home. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family. She cherished her grandchildren and husband, Delbert, the love of her life.
Charlotte is survived by a daughter-in-law, Denise Kaiser of Big River, CA; grandsons, Mark (Dawn) Kaiser of Eagle River, AK, Stephen Kaiser, Kasey Kaiser, and granddaughter, Kelli Kaiser all of California; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Olsen and Avis DeLonais of California; brothers and sisters in-law, Harley (Vae) Kaiser of Backus, Wilma (Everett) Ufford of Phoenix, AZ, David (Lorraine) Kaiser of Apple Valley, Riley Svihel of Oakdale; close neighbors and cousins, Gene (Leora) Cole of North Mankato; and many extended family.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert on January 24, 2008; son, Sam in 2007; brother, Sam Cole during WWII; and sister, Marcella Theissen.
