Larry A. Miller, age 66 of Gaylord, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Newport, WA.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary.
Larry was born October 8, 1945 to Bruno and Betty (Wallman) Miller in Hankinson, ND. After graduation, he served for the United States Army from 1964 until being honorably discharged in 1970. Larry was united in marriage to Abby Esguerra in the Philippines. They were blessed with two children, Matthew and Mitchell. Larry and Abby later divorced. From 1979 until present, Larry worked for The Industrial Company, the Ibberson District. With his job, he traveled all over the United States and numerous countries including: Egypt, China, Saudi Arabia, Korea, Philippines, Trinidad, Germany, Thailand and many more. Larry was a smart, hardworking, independent man. He was very generous to his family and community. Larry was a quiet and simple man who supported and loved his sons. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and golfing. He also collected coins and collectible ingots.
Larry is survived by his two sons: Matt Miller and Mitch Miller, both of Madison Lake; two brothers: Rodney and Lennie Miller, both of WA; sister-in-law: Pat Miller; brother-in-law: Ervin Bohmlehner; many nieces and nephews; and Matt and Mitch's mother, Abby.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Mary Boehmlehner; sister, Shirley Frounfelter, and half-brother, Clem Miller.
