R. Michael "Mike" Regan, age 69, died October 11, 2013, at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. memorial service Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive North Mankato, Minnesota. All are invited to a reception following the service. Private burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.

Mike was born on February 10, 1944, to Robert "Bob" and Josephine "Patsy" Regan in Mankato. He graduated from Loyola High School, Mankato State University, and William Mitchell College of Law. In 1971, he joined his family's law practice in Mankato that was originally started by his grandfather, John E. Regan in 1910. He retired in 1987 from practicing law due to failing health. Mike loved to hunt, trap shoot, and target shoot. He was also a very accomplished, self-taught woodworker. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Key Cities Conservation Club.

Mike is survived by his very special friend and companion of many years, Judith B. Pomerleau of Edina, MN; three children, Erin (Damian) Drummer of Apple Valley, MN, Matthew (Colleen) Regan of Bloomington, MN, Seamus (Angela) Regan of Grand Prairie, TX; two grandsons and three granddaughters; five siblings, John E. "Jack" (Carol) Regan of Niles, MI, Fay A. Regan of Coconut Grove, FL, Patrick W. Regan of Grand Rapids, MI, Marilyn J. "Molly" Regan (Conrad Osborne) of New York City, NY, and Thomas M. (Deb) Regan of Lake Washington, MN.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Robert "Bob" Regan on April 17, 1997 and Josephine "Patsy" Regan on October 5, 2013.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to "For Pets" of Mankato, Mayo Clinic Health Systems " Hospice, Mankato, or a worthy charity of the donor's choosing.
