Francis "Fran" Jones, age 67 of St. Peter, passed away after a battle with cancer on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at his home.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 " 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at NORTHVIEW " North Mankato Mortuary.

Francis Duane was born on March 19, 1945 in Sleepy Eye, MN to Harold Sr. and Lillian (Hammond) Jones. He was united in marriage to Lori Drummer on June 11, 1982 in Mankato. Together, they had a daughter, Taylor, and later divorced. Fran enjoyed playing cards, listening to country music, animals, and spending time with family and friends.

Fran is survived by his daughter, Taylor; siblings: Willie, Fred, Frank "Chub", Eddie, Bobby, Mary, Lois, Evelyn, Helen, and Virginia "Ginny"; Taylor's mom, Lori Johnson; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: David, Katie, Emma, Harold Jr. "Sonny" and Donny.
