Esther J Moritz

Esther J. Moritz, age 95, of Mankato died May 23, 2008 at Pathstone Living in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Esther was born September 23, 1912 to David C. and Anna (Johnson) Williams in Butternut Valley Township, Blue Earth County. She graduated from Lake Crystal High School. Esther was united in marriage to John W. Moritz on April 25, 1934 in Lake Crystal. They farmed for several years near Lake Crystal before moving to Mankato. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Eastern Star.

Esther is survived by a sister, Marion Williams and her husband, Robert; sister-in-law, Verna Williams all of Mankato; step-brother, Clarence Herbst and wife, Dolly of Lake Crystal; many nieces and nephews.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John in 1995; two sisters; two brothers; one step-brother.
