Sylvia Mae (Gustafson) Reinhart

Sylvia Mae (Gustafson) Reinhart, age 85, of Lake Crystal, entered her eternal home Monday, April 7, 2008 at Lake Crystal Health Care Center.

A commemorative service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 11, 2008 at Lake Crystal Mortuary with Rev. Karl Voelker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the mortuary. Private burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Mankato.

Sylvia was born on December 12, 1922 to George and Olive (Stenerson) Gustafson in Butternut, MN. She married Herbert Joseph Reinhart on October 25, 1944. Sylvia worked at the Candy Kitchen, St. Joseph the Worker, and as a housekeeper/home health aide for many years. She was an active member in the Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge. Sylvia loved music, gardening, flowers, butterflies and people.
Sylvia is survived by her two daughters: Betty Gray of Waldorf, MN and Alice (Bob) Chapman of Garden City, MN; four Grandchildren: Brett Haack of Fairbault, MN, Thomas (Melissa) Haack of Waseca, MN, Gerald (Misty) Armstrong Jr. of Austin, TX, Gerry (Mike) Stewig of Lake Crystal, MN; seven great grandchildren: Dancy, Dayla, Chase, Chelsea, Payton, Benjamin, and Theodore Joseph; two sisters: Phyllis Barber of Bakersfield, CA and Geraldine Munter of Garden City, MN.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Maynard and special California friend, Art Willis.
