Geraldine G Geary

Geraldine G. "Gerry" Geary, age 87, of Mankato, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Immanuel " St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Rev. Al Girtz officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice.

Gerry was born on March 28, 1920 in Claremont. She was the daughter of John and Ida (Falck) Wartenberg. Gerry was a graduate of Claremont High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne Geary on September 5, 1941 in Owatonna. Gerry was a homemaker for her family. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she participated in the church circle. She was also a member of TOPS and the Circle 8 Square Dance Club.

Gerry is survived by her husband, Wayne of Mankato; two sons, Richard of San Diego and Robert of Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald; and a brother, Lloyd.
