Kevin A Betts

Kevin A. "Chico" Betts, age 36, of Madison Lake died as the result of an automobile accident in Le Sueur County.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Jeff Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before service at the mortuary on Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Kevin and Barbara's children. A trust has been set-up with First National Bank, 500 Long Street Mankato, MN 56001.
Kevin was born December 3, 1971 to Clarence A. and Bonnie J. (Orcutt) Betts in Coon Rapids, MN. He graduated from Mankato East High School and from South Central Technical College. Kevin attended Mankato State University and left college to be general manager of CAB Construction Co. in 1996. Kevin married Barbara Jean Lloyd on June 17, 2006 at their home in Madison Lake. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, cars, and motorcycles.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Madelyn Rose; mother, Bonnie Jeanne Betts of Madison Lake; two sisters, Karla Nelson of Lakeville and Annette Betts of Madison Lake; in-laws, Terry and Jeanine Lloyd of North Mankato and Dina and Chris Landphair of Des Moines, IA; aunts, uncles, niece, and nephew; also many friends and employees.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Clarence "Butch" Betts.
