Arthur G. (Art) Hudson, age 76, of North Mankato, died Friday, February 15, 2008, at Hillcrest Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday, February 21st at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato. Interment of ashes at Calvary Cemetery. Prayer service at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, February 20th at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation immediately following the prayer service until 7:00 pm. Visitation will also be held Thursday, one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the donor's choice.

Art was born January 26, 1932, in Minneapolis, MN, to William and Alice (Lorenz) Hudson. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1949 and Elgin Watch College (Elgin, Illinois) in 1950. In 1952, Art was united in marriage with Marie (Zyvoloski) in Minneapolis.

Art and Marie owned and operated the Tic Toc Shop for over 25 years. After the store was closed, Art continued to repair clocks and watches in his spare time. He was past president of the Noon Exchange Club in Mankato and a member of the North Mankato Knights of Columbus. Art was an active member of Holy Rosary parish in North Mankato where he was a cantor and soloist for over 30 years. Art enjoyed fishing, gardening and the occasional game of chance.

Art is survived by his wife, Marie of North Mankato; three sons and their wives, Robert and Jeanne of Shoreview, MN, Donald and Anna of Minnetonka, MN, Jeffrey and Denise of Greer, SC, and daughter and her husband, Barbara and David Clinnin of Newburgh, IN; six grandchildren: Matthew and Scott, Jeremy and Jason, Christine and Benjamin. Art was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard.
