Arline Marie Page, age 87, of Mankato, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marysburg, with Rev. Edwin Savundra officiating. Burial will be in Marysburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary, with a 3:45 p.m. Prayer Service. Visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the Marysburg Catholic Church Women.
Arline was born on December 6, 1920 in Minneapolis. She was the daughter of Ernest and Rose (Sodini) Johnson. Arline was a 1938 graduate of Minneapolis North High School and later the Bemidji School of Nursing. She was united in marriage to Clyde W. "Bud" Page on November 8, 1945 in Arlington, VA. Arline was employed for 28 years at Immanuel Hospital and later Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital. She retired in 1982. She was a member of Marysburg Catholic Church, where she was active in the CCW. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, yard work, being outdoors, and nature.
Arline is survived by her seven children, Glen (Barbara) Page of Bloomington, Linda (Tom) DuFresne of Minneapolis, Kirk Page of Mankato, John (Barb) Page of Cleveland, David (Cindy) Page of rural Madison Lake, Mary Page of St. Louis Park, Joseph (Brenda) Page of LeSueur; 10 grandchildren, Adam (Katie) Page, Zachary DuFresne, Jessica (Erik Thomsen) Page, Nathan and Ryan Page, Andrea, Meghan, and Daniel Page, Ashley and Shane Page; sister, Rosemary Bickett of Rapid City, SD; brother, James Johnson of Andover; sister-in-law, Esther Johnson of Minneapolis; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Bud" in 1972, son, Timothy in 1991, granddaughter, Nicole DuFresne in 2005, and a brother, William Johnson.
