Shelbi Lynn Juliar, age 6, of North Mankato, died on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in the arms of her parents at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester after complications from heart surgery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Crossview Covenant Church in North Mankato with Pastor Van Miller officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. The family would love to honor Shelbi and have those attending the visitation and service to wear her favorite colors of pink or purple.

Shelbi was born on August 29, 2005 in Mankato to Jared and Becky (Jaeger) Juliar. She was in first grade at Hoover Elementary in North Mankato. Shelbi enjoyed cheerleading, riding golf cart, swimming, singing and dancing, and playing with her friends. She also enjoyed the outdoors. Shelbi loved cuddling with others.

She is survived by her parents, Jared and Becky Juliar; brother, Loghan; grandparents, Tim and Lori Jaeger, Arnie Juliar, and Donna and Royce Behnke; great-grandparents, Russ and Elaine Fossen, Virgil and Erma Juliar, and Barb Goettl; aunts and uncles, Brandon (Gina) Jaeger, Tim (Nicole) Jaeger, David (Sara) Goettl, Jesse Wolters, Tina Wolters (Mike Pooley), Anita (Josh) Steinbach, Heather Behnke, Bret Behnke (Alisha Prouty), and Heath Behnke (Sherry Roberts); and many cousins, great-aunts and uncles, and special friends, Sophie, Irie, and Desiree.
