Deanna M. (Draper) Swensen, age 74, of Apple Valley and formerly of Mankato died, Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona.

Memorial Service 12 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Burnsville, MN. A reception will follow the service on Saturday. Private Family burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity in Deanna's name.

Deanna was born June 21, 1937 to Howard C. and Bernice M. (Martin) Draper in Mankato. A 1955 graduate of Mankato High School she was active in her class reunions. She enjoyed being the family historian and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Deanna was loved by her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Sharon; four sons, Steve (Kate), Stuart (Cuc), Scott (Lisa), and Sheldon (Linda); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Draper; and extended family.
