Jim Klamm, age 67, of North Mankato, passed from this life at his home on Sunday, April 22, 2012. According to Jim's wishes, no services are planned. Mankato Mortuary assisted the family.
Jim was born in Kansas City, MO on October 6, 1944 to Tony and Arline (Amonson) Klamm. He graduated from Osakis High School and Bemidji State University. On December 26, 1968, he married Susan Woodfill in Minneapolis. Jim retired after 24 years from the Army as a Lt. Colonel, and later retired from working for the State of Minnesota. He enjoyed fly fishing, woodworking, sailing, and traveling.
Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan; sister-in-law, Carole (Tom) Diercks; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
