Joshua Robert Niss, age 27, of Mankato, died on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Josh was born on October 31, 1984 to Kathryn (Niss) Beese in Fairmont, MN. He attended Mankato West High School until 2001. Josh earned his GED in 2009 and attended classes at Minnesota State University in St. Cloud and Mankato.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Amanda Janssen (Joe Meyer), Josie Niss (Andy Weingartz), Darin, Jessica, Elizabeth, Michael, Connor, Ashley, and Eric; foster mother, Sara Perrino; foster brothers: Eric Perrino and Kyle Perrino (Jacki Lahr); niece, Hannah Meyer; nephews: Aiden Meyer and Robby Perrino; grandparents, Ronald and Joann Niss; and uncle, Richard Niss. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Beese.
