Grace became a licensed hairdresser from Sparks Beauty School in Nevada. On November 8, 1958, Grace was united in marriage to Harold "Gus" Young at Stead Air Force Base in Reno, NV. After retirement, Grace cooked at Trinity Daycare in North Mankato and also worked two summers at a gift shop in Yellowstone. Grace loved to take pictures of bison and spend time with her family, but most of all, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
