Margita Karabelli, age 78, of Mankato, died on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice Program.
Margita was born on February 13, 1934 in Svaty Jur, Slovakia to Martin and Maria Matula.
She is survived by her husband, Milan of Mankato; daughter, Maria Karabelli and fianc" Steve Meister of Mankato; grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Giffin, Joseph (Amanda) Thissen, Tim Meister, Stephanie Meister, Douglas Meister, and Andrea (Adam) Mitlyng; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Joey, Jonathan, Alexis, Ethan, Logan, and Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Margita, and one sister.
