Roger Paul Rauchman, age 76, of Mankato, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m. at North Mankato Mortuary-Northview. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
Roger was born on March 14, 1935 in Mankato to George and Bernice (Sperry) Rauchman. On July 31, 1954 Roger was united in marriage to Joyce Glackler. Roger was a truck driver for many years for Dahlen Transport and Jensen Transport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, picking berries, going to the casino and playing bingo. Roger loved Joyce's cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Mankato; children, Susan Casper of Redding, CA, Constance Jacobs of North Mankato, Robert of Mankato, James (Vicky) of Madison Lake, John of Mankato, Debbie (Norm) Glickman of Amboy, and Jeff of Mankato; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Marsden of Judson; sister-in-law, Roxanne (Michael) Lyons of Redding, CA; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Barbara, mother and father-in-law, brother, Raymond, two brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
