Pearl A. Fisher, age 98, of Mankato died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Oaklawn Health Care Center, Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church, Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday, December 29 at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before service at church on Friday. Burial will be at a later date in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato, Minnesota.
Pearl was born June 22, 1913 to Harry and Amanda (Glaser) Miller in Glenside, Saskatchewan, Canada. She graduated from Bishops Beauty School in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She worked in Ashland, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, MN. She married Gordon Lundin in April 1941. He was killed in World War II in France. In 1948 she married Clifford Fisher, he died in 1972. Pearl married Ken Hendershott in 1985, he died in 2003. Pearl was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Eagles Club, Moose Lodge, and the Summit Center. She enjoyed bowling, card playing, fishing, and dancing.
Pearl is survived by two sons, Gary (Pam) Lundin, Gordon (Nancy) Lundin all of Mankato; daughter, Patricia (David) Kelly of Oakdale; daughter-in-law, Frances Hendershott of Willmar; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer (Jerry) Wieland, Debra (Bob) Carlson, Stephanie (Jarrod) Wellik, Aaron Fisher, Randy Lundin, Allen Fisher, Andrew Fisher, Jessica Lundin, David Kelly and Sara Kelly; numerous great-grandchildren and step grandchildren; niece Marlene Torvik of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and many nieces and nephews.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husbands, Gordon Lundin, Clifford Fisher, and Ken Hendershott; two sons, Kenneth and Clifford Jr. Fisher; brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Mabel Miller; and her parents.
