Diane Taylor, age 62, of St. Peter, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 peacefully in her beauty-filled home with her loving family.

Diane Gay Taylor was born July 18, 1949 to Homer "Les" and Lucille (Boyle) Byrn in New Albany, Indiana. She served in the United States Army as a nurse and was also a homemaker for most of her life. On August 6, 2002 she married Robert Taylor in Milaca, Minnesota. Diane loved gardening, creating a home for her family, music, singing, dancing, flowers, animals, birds, and children. She was kind and loving to everyone she met. She truly lived the life of one who is pure of heart, and will be greatly missed.

Diane is survived by husband, Robert of St. Peter; daughter, Shawn Robin Streepy of Minneapolis; son, Jeffrey Bryan Streepy of Minneapolis; sister, Donna Kolesar of New Albany; cousins, Phyllis Hostetler of New Albany and Gary (Debbie) Boyle of Plainfield, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family service will be held.
