John W More

John William More, age 52, passed away on December 12, 2009 at his home in Mankato.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Mankato Mortuary. Any memorials and/or condolences will be directed to the family in care of Mankato Mortuary.

John was born on February 17, 1957 in Canyon, Texas to James and Mabel Elizabeth (West) More. He attended Mankato Public Schools and resided in the Mankato area most of his life. John was united in marriage to Debra Little of Quincy, IL. They had three children and later divorced. John spent much of his spare time in the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling and four-wheeling. He enjoyed billiards and had a great appreciation for music. John was a handy man and had a talent for fixing things. He was employed by Industrial Fabrication Solutions in Lake Crystal. John will be greatly missed by those who loved him and enjoyed his company.

John is survived by his three children, Robin, Michael, and Brittney More of Quincy, IL; his father, James W. More of Mankato; his mother, Mabel E. More of St. Cloud; his brothers and sisters, Debra Thomas of Panama City, FL, Randy More of Mankato, Brian (Teresa) More of Mankato, Lynette (Mike) Slater of St. Cloud; several nieces and nephews, and Sue Schwichtenberg (a special friend).

John was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Clara More of Waseca.
