Jeffrey William Jensen, age 45, of Mankato and formerly of Lake Crystal died Sunday, November 30, 2009 at Hillcrest Health Care Center, Mankato.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Butternut. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at church. Lake Crystal Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Jeff was born August 29, 1964 to Raymond Warren and Ardell Evelyn (Witte) Jensen in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1982 and Mankato State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was united in marriage to Stacy Stordahl on September 24, 1988 in Mankato. Jeff had been employed as a groundskeeper at Good Counsel in Mankato. He was active in the Lake Crystal Chamber of Commerce and city council. Jeff owned and operated Jet-Black Seal Coating and Repair. Jeff was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Butternut and enjoyed landscaping, hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and playing cards.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Stacy of Mankato; three children, Nicholas, Christy, and Maxwell; three brothers, Larry (Karen) Jensen of Northfield, Kim (Geri) Jensen of Dixon, IL, and Keith Jensen of Fairmont; nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Joe Stordahl.
