Richard A Heck

Richard Alan "Rick" Heck, age 49 died on Friday, November 20th, 2009 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato after a battle with Lung cancer.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Jesus Assembly of God Church, 722 Sunrise Drive, in St. Peter. Burial will follow in Kasota Hill Cemetery in Kasota. A reception will be held at the church after the burial. Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

Rick was born January 14, 1960 in New Ulm, MN to Frank "Tom" T. Morrow, Sr. and Maxine Heck. He attended high school at New Ulm Public and graduated from Cleveland High School. He was united in marriage to Kandy Risk in 1986 in Kasota & had 3 sons & a stepson. Rick enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, football, & being with friends.

Rick is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Katie Risk of St. Peter; son, Andy Risk of St. Peter; step-son, Alan Risk of St. Peter; one grandson, Dominick; step-parents, Lois and Ron Engel of St. James; grandfather, Donald Sanns of Grand Rapids; sisters and brother-in-law, Shelli (Morrow) Laplante of St. James, Cheryl (Morrow) & Eugene Tauer of New Ulm; brothers and sister-in-law, Frank T. Morrow, Jr. of Fargo, ND, Mike and Autumn Morrow of St. James; good friend, Rebecca Lyons of Mankato, & several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Adam; his father; grandparents, Eddy and Mary Heck and grandmother, Adair Sanns.
