Joyce Anna Baynes, age 82, of Madison Lake, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Pathstone Living.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Marysburg with Rev. Allan Paul Eilen officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will also continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Marysburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.

Joyce was born on June 16, 1930 in St. Paul. Her parents were Royal and Grace (McCarthy) Newton. She was united in marriage to Marshall Baynes on August 10, 1949 at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Marysburg. She helped her husband on the farm and was a homemaker for her family. She worked at Hiniker Company for 20 years. Joyce loved her family and was a loving and devoted mother to many. She enjoyed card games, puzzles, fishing, gardening, and animals.

Joyce is survived by her ten children: Bruce Baynes, Debra (Bob) DeVlaeminck, Brenda (Jim) Tacheny, Doris (Stormy) Burns, Tom (Sandy) Baynes, Tim Baynes, Barb (Tim) Haley, Brian (Leiha) Baynes, David (Chris) Baynes, and Lisa (Beth) Baynes; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Muellerleile and Mary Baynes; cousin, Margie Brown Mountain. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandchildren, Corey and Jennifer Haley, and cousin, Father Syl Brown.
