Andrew I Anderson

Andrew Isaac Anderson, age 16 of Mankato died, Friday, May 30, 2008 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Mankato with Rev. John Wilmot officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Andrew was born on October 26, 1991 to Tracy and Lydia (Garcia) Anderson in Mankato. He attended school in Mankato and was currently a sophomore at Mankato West High School and had tentative plans of joining the United States Army after high school. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Andrew especially enjoyed skateboarding and playing bass guitar. He also enjoyed playing Xbox, specifically Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Tracy and Lydia Anderson of Mankato; siblings, Faith (Isaiah) Allen of Madison Lake, Timothy (Sarah) Anderson of Mankato, Benjamin Anderson of Mankato, and Christopher Anderson of Mankato; niece and nephew, Kaylee Johnson and Joshua Allen; grandmothers, Guadalupe S. Garcia of Mankato, and Linnea Berger of St. Peter; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ciro Garcia, and Verle Anderson; uncle, Wade Anderson; and his great-grandparents.
