Barbara A Foster

Barbara Ann Foster, age 70, of Mankato, died Sunday, October 4, 2009 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2009 at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery following the service.
Barbara was born April 10, 1939 in Mankato to John and Joyce (Leonhardt) Uppstrom. She graduated from Mankato High School and worked for National Recognition Products for many years before her retirement this year. Barbara was a friend to all animals large and small.

Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Pam Smith (John Mauritz) of St. Peter, Cheryl Foster of Mankato; granddaughter Heather Smith of Mankato and Texas; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Jacob, and Owen Cooper; Gina and Tom Cooper and many special friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David, and step-father, Daniel Hauch.
